I have been going to Didi's for two years. Mikki usually does my hair, and sometimes Angela helps out if she has no one in her chair. I think the reason why they might not talk much to some people is because of the language barrier. But they are really fun ladies. They've even shown me pictures of their families. So I think it depends on how you relate to them. It is true however that they concentrate on doing your hair and not much chitchat except between themselves, which is fine with me. Mikki is great at doing weaves also. Many people don't know that. And they honor coupons from their website. Didi herself has been gone for awhile but now she is back and I think things will run smoothly again as far as appointments. Dorothy

I would recommend that you be the first customer in the morning. The person that is making the appointment isn't speaking with the ladies that do the hair. Serveral different customer came in and left because thetr appointment time couldn't be honored. I got kinky twist and they are great. No issues what's so ever. I would suggest that you bring and Ipod or something to read. The ladies that do the hair don't talk to you very much. So bring your music and something to read.

Overall very good work on Micro braids. In at 7:00 am out by 10:00am. Very nice ladies. I do recommend that you bring something to read. Not a lot of casual talking takes place between employee and customer, unless they have questions on style.
Over all I would recommend.

I was finally excited that there was a braiding salon in Virginia. I wanted a stylist I could depend on since I was pregnant and wanted to braid/weave my hair for the rest of the pregnancy and for a few more months after. I went in scheduled an appointment later that afternoon went a purchased the hair color I wanted at a beauty supply store and got there early for my appointment. The stylist I was waiting for spoke to me once to say it will be about an hour so I patiently waited and I finally got fed up after 2 hours and left. They were on the phone constantly and stopping and talking with each other. I will never recommend this shop to any of my friends and furthermore not even my enemies.

Great location. A little kid happy, but overall a good place to get your hair done. For mid back length box braids I was in by 9am and out by 4 pm.

The braiding was fine, but the atmosphere, the people were cold.
